Dear Michael,

I was delighted to hear that your son, Daniel, will be spending his holidays in India. I would be more than happy if he could stay with me and my family during his visit. Our home has plenty of space, and it would give us a wonderful chance to extend the same hospitality you showed me when I visited your country.

There is a lot for Daniel to experience here. Since he enjoys history, I recommend he visits the forts and palaces in Jaipur and Agra. Of course, no trip would be complete without seeing the Taj Mahal, which is only a few hours’ drive from my city. For leisure, he can explore local markets, try traditional Indian food, and enjoy cultural performances, which are often organised in the evenings.

Please let Daniel know that we will take care of all his needs, and he should feel at home here. I am certain his holiday will be both memorable and enriching.
