The graph illustrates and compares the percentage of vehicle registration of three public transportation such as trucks, taxis and buses in the US from 1970 to 2010. Overall, the truck was at the top spot in the first period, followed by the taxi and finally the bus. This order remained until the end of the period.
From 1970 to 1980, the taxi and the bus have a similar trend, beginning at 5% and 25% respectively. Both twos mentioned vehicles ascend temporarily by approximately 10% with taxis located at 35% and the bus at 15%. However, the truck has decreased trend, it started with the highest number at nearly 50% and went down significantly to 30% in 2018.
From 1980 till the ending, the bus fell gradually, it dropped to the lower number from the first period which was recorded as the lowest number during the ages at nearby 2%. In addition, the taxi also roughly halve by 15% in 2000 and increased substantially at the end of the period by 35%. Meanwhile, the truck was the dominant which the rose trend and situated at the first top with 45% at the same time.
