IELTS Speaking Part 1 about Fast Food

1. Do you like fast food?

Answer:
Although I enjoy the taste of fast food occasionally, I try not to indulge in it too often because it is generally considered unhealthy. Moreover, I recently started going to the gym, so I’m making a conscious effort to maintain a balanced diet rather than give in to short-term cravings.

Key Vocabulary & Phrases:

  • Indulge in → to allow yourself to enjoy something you usually avoid.
  • Conscious effort → a deliberate, intentional attempt.
  • Give in to cravings → to surrender to a strong desire, often for food.

2. How often do you eat fast food?
