The book IEL T S Advantage Speaking and Listening has been published for language learners who want to get a score of 6.5 to 7 or even higher in the Speaking and Listening skills of the IELTS test. The purpose of this book is to improve the learner’s speaking and listening skills step by step so that the learner can get the appropriate score in this test.
This book is divided into two parts, Speaking and listening, and includes 9 lessons. Lessons 1 to 7 strengthen Speaking skills in accordance with IELTS standards. Lessons 8 and 9 also strengthen Listening skills. The Speaking Skills section of this book has 5 main features that are:
- Explain the structures and recommendations related to the test
- Explain grammatical points, words and terms that are related to common topics in the Speaking section of the IELTS test.
- Explain skills and strategies for better test performance
- Create plenty of opportunities to practice Speaking skills in accordance with the test structure
- Audio examples on the CD that came with the book.
The Listening section also includes three main features:
- Explain the structures and recommendations and suggestions related to the test
- Explain strategies to strengthen Listening and extract information that is necessary to answer questions.
- Suitable content and topics for Listening practice
The IELTS Advantage Speaking and Listening book can be used in two ways: The first method is to be taught by the teacher in the classroom. And the second method uses the book to the students to use as your source reader of books. The explanations and recommendations in the book about the IELTS test, along with activities for practicing the language and a variety of audio content on the CD, fully prepare the learner for the test.
In this collection, in addition to the book, there are two books IELTS Advantage – Writing Skills and IELTS Advantage – Reading Skills, which have been written to strengthen writing skills and comprehension and have already been placed on the site for download.
